Turbo Fire has landed in Yale Town, just in time for the New Year! This blog will be my diary of sorts about my 90 day program: all the highs, lows, cravings, successes and challenges.
I bought the Turbo Fire program at Costco for about $120. It includes all the workouts, exercise bands, food and exercise journal, meal plans and the advanced workouts (which at the moment sound terrifying).
So without further ado, here are my stats:
I'm a 38 year old mother of a toddler, a working professional, wife, 5'9" tall and have lead a fairly active lifestyle. I have however, been sliding lately: eating mindlessly, drinking wine each night, indulging in birthday cake at the office, and exercising infrequently and without much focus or determination. I have been running on my lunch hour at work this fall, howvever this has been infrequent as well.
Starting Stats:
Weight: 167.2
Body Fat: 31%
BMI: 24.7
Ok, so what do these numbers mean? I am at the high end of what is considered for my height, age and gender. I knew the scale would be high! As I have been slowly losing weight after being 202 lbs when I had my son. I have lost all muscle definition and squeeze into a size 10. My goal is to be 140 lbs with a body fat percentage around 18. All my size 8 clothes will fit at this as this is what I was before!
So after all the weighing, measuring, cleaning out the fridge, freezer and cupboards, the first cardio class is scheduled for tonight. I tried a the Hitt 30 class over the holidays a couple of times and I was tired and sore! I did the 'New to Class' option on the DVD where Chalene breaks down the moves. It was very helpful and I feel ready to go!
